Understanding your requirements
Congratulations!
Whether your new home is for you or an investment property, we congratulate you on your purchase.
It is important that Onyx has details regarding your unit including property contract information, details relating to the safety of all occupants, and whether you have a pet that will need some additional attention during an emergency, just to name a few.
There are different requirements as well if you plan to have a tenant in your unit.
Owning investment properties can be an exciting and a rewarding journey. However, when you own units within a condominium corporation, specific requirements must be followed to ensure governing compliance and that your tenant(s) support harmonious community living by following the rules of the corporation.

Under section 83 (1) of the Condominium Act, a landlord must provide the following to the condominium corporation within 10 days of entering into a lease agreement.
-
Notice that a tenant has rented your unit.
-
Your tenant’s name.
-
Your address.
-
A copy or a summary of the tenancy agreement.
